Ryan and Alexis met junior year of high school when they joined the same dance team. After graduation, however, time and distance separated them years as they attended college, started jobs, and learned lessons they would later learn were critical for their future success as business owners.

Nearly a decade later, they reconnected. Talking for hours over sushi, they were surprised that, somehow, they seemed to live parallel lives and held many of the same interests, goals, and values.

One shared passion was the need to do something with purpose, particularly with their careers. Before Rex, both Ryan and Alexis were excelling in their corporate roles, but wanted something that allowed them to grow while adding meaning to other people’s lives.
